Justin Finch-Fletchley (b. August 15, 1980) is a muggle-born wizard and student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Justin was raised in the muggle upper-class society and therefore had to argue with his parents to convince them that he should go to Hogwarts. Once arriving at the school, Justin was surprised that, to some, his muggle-born status made him a second-class citizen. Having grown up in a life of luxury, that was a vast change for him. Still, Justin quickly adjusted and learned to avoid the people who typically insulted him.
In 1994, Justin was offered the chance to begin mage training under the tutelage of Professor Minerva McGonagall, Professor Pomona Sprout, Madam Poppy Pomfrey, Madam Rolanda Hooch. He quickly became close to Daphne Greengrass through their talks about wizarding society and the preservation of it. She began teaching him about wizarding customs and traditions while he taught her about the muggle world.
