Guinevere Pendragon (b. April 30, 498-d. August 25, 537) was the first spouse of King Arthur Pendragon and the Queen of Camelot. In her youth, Guinevere was a ladies maid to Morgana Le Fey, who became her closest friend. However, after she fell in love with and married Arthur, she became queen. As queen, Gwen was adored by her people, beloved to all. She was the mother of the first three children of King Arthur. Unfortunately, when she was thirty-nine, an assassination attempt on Arthur failed but killed her instead.
