Golgos is a Greek God and Son of Aphrodite and Adonis. He is the God of the Restless Dead and Cup-Bearer of Hades. When he came of age, having lived on Mount Olympus for much of his life, he met Hades for the first time on the Winter Solstice. Upon seeing him, much like with Persephone, Hades fell in love and took him as his lover. He gave Golgos a place of prestige as his Cup-Bearer to honor his love. Aphrodite was hesitant to accept this arrangement, but relented when both Adonis and Golgos himself blessed it.
